David Landis, a Nebraska State Senator, is a skilled negotiator in the public arena. He chairs the Revenue Committee for the Nebraska Unicameral and has passed nearly 350 bills.

David teaches at the University of Nebraska College of Law and the Department of Public Administration. He is a three time winner of the Best Teacher Award at Doane College.

David and his wife, Melodeee Ann McPherson, have two children, Matthew and Melissa. He enjoys music and theatre and has a radio show on the week-ends. He is the only Nebraska State senator who has been married on a mountain top and can walk a tightrope and juggle.
